On the first anniversary of Marin’s passing, we asked everyone who ever had any opportunity to meet Marin to share their stories with us. Thank you for allowing us to share it with others.

How did you know Marin: Middle School Classmate/Friend

When I met Marin in middle school, you could instantly tell she was one of those people that instantly put a smile on your face and brightened your day. In the classes I had with her in middle school, she was always so funny and fun to be around. I remember one day we were playing dodgeball in gym class and even though our team was getting destroyed, it was Marin who kept our spirits up and we eventually won the game. That’s the type of person she was not just in dodgeball or school, but in life. I’ll never forget the uplifting and sweet person Marin was everyday. Rest easy, 22. 💜
