Marin Story – Jennifer Stuhlreyer

#BeThe22 #MarinsFriends

On the first anniversary of Marin’s passing, we asked everyone who ever had any opportunity to meet Marin to share their stories with us. Thank you, Jen, for allowing us to share it with others.

How did you know Marin: She was my sweet niece

Back in the beginning of the pandemic our family rented a house in Hilton Head for spring break. We had plenty of room, so we invited the Lacson’s to join and Bridget & Marin came down. Mark in a house w 7 females…! We had a lot of fun that week. From beach days, rainy game day where Marin won more than her share of the time. To Mark almost sinking an unsinkable pontoon boat, to “someone becoming a fertile woman” (we who were there know what I mean). It was a relaxing week with fun girl time. Marin was adored by my girls. We traveled with Bri & family when we could work out our schedules. It was always an adventure.

Kate & I joined the Lacsons in Whistler to ski one year. Marin & Nick could really ski well. I’m a chicken skier. Kate loved meeting them on the slopes, there and in Park City, so she could ski with Nick & Marin. They were fearless.
