By highlighting athletes who consistently demonstrate character and contribute

significantly to their teams’ success but who may not always appear on the statistical leaderboards, the award encourages a broader definition of success beyond mere performance metrics. It sends a powerful message that kindness, effort, and ethical behavior are valued and celebrated.

Please join us in recognizing our six finalists for 2025. The winner of the 2025 IGLCA “Be The #22” Award will be announced in two weeks and will receive a monetary prize of $1,022 from the Marin Elizabeth Lacson Memorial Foundation.
