On the first anniversary of Marin’s passing, we asked everyone who ever had any opportunity to meet Marin to share their stories with us. Thank you, Gracie, for allowing us to share it with others.

How did you know Marin: Crossfit Barrington

When I think of Marin there are so many heart filled and positive memories that come to mind. The one that sticks out the most though is the most perfect summer day when both Marin and Daley came out to crystal lake and we rented a Dragon peddle boat and made the most perfect memories. From Marin trying to push me in to the water or getting back to my house and we were all laughing so hard that Marin spit a mouthful of sprite in to a fresh bowl of Doritos! I think this being said shows the light that Marin brought in to this world. I could whole heartedly say that whenever we were together it was just pure love and laughter.
